Intellectual Property Shareholder Brent Yamashita will be on the faculty at the PLI Patent Law Institute 2026: Critical Issues & Best Practices on April 9 in San Francisco. The program will cover patent law issues, such as litigation best practices, in‑house patent portfolio development, recent PTO developments, post‑Halo considerations and the growing role of AI.
Brent will present the session, “USPTO Rules and Procedures,” discussing recent policy and procedure changes from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office as well as recent revisions to the Manual of Patent Examining Procedure.
