On February 19-20, 2026, Vedder Shareholder S. Preston Ricardo will serve as program co-chair for the New York City Bar Trade Secrets Symposium 2026: Navigating the Law of Trade Secrets and Restrictive Covenants. The two-day virtual program will provide an introduction to trade secrets law, cover best practices for protecting a company’s trade secrets and confidential information, explore the intersection of artificial intelligence and the law of trade secrets, and include litigation practice pointers and strategies from attorneys who have won some of the largest trade secrets verdicts over the past few years.
As part of the Symposium, on February 20, Preston will also moderate the panel “Lessons from Counsel: Mega-Verdicts in 2025.”
