Dylan helps banks, investors, owners and operators arrange finance for, and structure investments in, major assets including aircraft, ships, satellites, utilities, rail, and industrial equipment.

He advises on loans, leases, bareboat and time charters, bonds, sales, acquisitions and joint ventures, enabling companies to acquire, finance, operate or exit these assets, usually on a cross-boarder basis.

Dylan's clients include banks, funds, lessors, export credit agencies, airlines and shipping companies. This broad knowledge of the market and its participants allows Dylan to anticipate the demands of diverse groups of stakeholders and helps him to find solutions that satisfy all parties.

Frequently involved at the structuring phase of more complex transactions, his approach combines deep asset finance knowledge with creativity to find commercially workable solutions. In distressed situations, he has assisted his clients in maintaining and realising value in challenging circumstances, often working together with the firm’s litigation and restructuring and bankruptcy teams.

  • Represented Absa Bank and Afrexim Bank as mandated lead arrangers on the pre-delivery payment (PDP) financing for three Boeing 787 aircraft for TAAG Angola Airlines. 
  • Represented an equity investor on a multi-vessel new build shipping joint venture. 
  • Represented the lessors on JOLCO transactions for two A321neo aircraft and five 737 max aircraft.
