Jonathan Edgelow

Jonathan Edgelow, a member of the Finance & Transactions group, advises companies, investors, and founders on complex corporate, financial, and commercial matters.

With two decades of transactional experience across the UK and cross-border markets, Jonathan leads mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic investments, and financing matters with a focus on helping clients drive growth, manage risk, and execute deals efficiently.

Jonathan works as a strategic partner to clients, often serving in an external general counsel capacity. He supports start-ups, SMEs, and public companies on corporate structuring, investment rounds, governance, commercial contracts, and international transactions governed by English law. He also contributes to industry thought leadership as general editor of Company Law in Europe and is active in pro bono work, including service as Honorary Legal Counsel to The Sleep Charity as well as providing assistance to other organisations in the not-for profit sector.
