Sarah Yeow

Sarah Yeow, a member of the firm’s Global Transportation Finance team, focuses her practice on asset finance, representing lessors, global airlines, and financial institutions in a wide range of cross-border aircraft leasing and financing transactions.

Her experience covers both commercial and private aircraft, including advising lessors on the sale, purchase, leasing, and refinancing of new and existing aircraft, as well as extensive work in spare engine leasing.

Before joining Vedder, Sarah trained at an international law firm, where she gained experience across the insurance, aviation, and marine sectors.

Experience

• Aircraft and helicopter sales and purchases, financing and leasing transactions, including representing JetSMART Airlines on PDP and lease facility for Airbus aircraft and deliveries, including its first SLB delivery from German Operating Aircraft Leasing (GOAL)
• Represented SKY Leasing in connection with two market-leading aircraft lease portfolio ABS transactions: SLAM 2024-1 (US$570 million) and SLAM 2025-1 ($503 million).
