- Immigrant visa (“green card”) applications for professional and nonprofessional positions requiring PERM certification, including multinational managers, NIW and extraordinary ability
- Visa application processing at U.S. embassies and consulates around the world
Mergers & Acquisitions
- Due diligence regarding immigration issues in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and other forms of corporate reorganization, including Form I-9 compliance and employment authorization for transferred personnel.
Form I-9 Compliance and Litigation
- Providing day-to-day guidance on Form I-9 and E-Verify compliance
- Conducting internal Form I-9 audits
- Representing employers in the event of an audit by Immigration and Customs Enforcement
Training and Policy Guidance
- Counseling employers regarding compliance with immigration laws in order to avoid civil and criminal penalties
- Establishing internal corporate immigration policies
- Providing training for clients regarding current legal requirements, Form I-9 compliance, document retention and hiring practices
