Litigation Shareholder Bryan Clark will give a virtual presentation for the American Bar Association (ABA) Forum on Communications Law on May 12. He will be a panelist for the webinar, “AI, Defamation, and the First Amendment.”
During the webinar, Bryan will explore various AI-related topics, including who may be held liable when defamatory content is produced or amplified by AI systems, and how existing doctrines such as actual malice, negligence and strict liability may be argued in this new context.
