Daniel Green represents accounting firms, private equity firms, financial institutions, public and private companies across industries, professionals, and investment funds in commercial litigation.
Blending courtroom-tested advocacy with strategic business and financial insights, he provides legal representation and practical guidance to resolve disputes and advance his clients’ overall business objectives.
Handling cases in federal and state courts, Dan has successfully defended accounting firms in matters involving audits and tax advice claims and favorably resolved cases alleging professional negligence, breach of contract, tortious interference, misappropriation of trade secrets, noncompetition agreement violations and consumer protection claims. He has prevailed for clients in multiple high-profile matters, including pre-answer dismissals affirmed on appeal and complex derivative actions related to major investment fraud.
Clients also retain Dan to advise on disputes linked to audit engagements, failed investments and corporate leadership transitions. Skilled in early risk assessment, Dan identifies opportunities to resolve matters before trial. Coordinating with executives, in-house counsel and business advisors, he helps clients navigate complex legal conflicts, protect their financial and operational interests, and minimize liability exposure and potential reputational harm.
Before entering private practice, Dan worked in Georgia’s Environmental Protection Division, where he gained experience in regulatory compliance and risk management, which he leverages to help clients conduct early risk assessments, identify resolution opportunities and achieve favorable outcomes.
I determine strategy based on clients’ business needs and financial and reputational risks, focusing on achieving outcomes that support their broader operational and investment goals.
