Fleming L. Ware

Fleming Ware is a commercial litigator and financial lawyer who steers corporations, financial institutions and individuals through complex commercial disputes, including case strategy, negotiations and settlement efforts, as well as litigation, including arbitration and trial.

Representing clients in both New York and New Jersey, Fleming guides businesses through all stages of the litigation lifecycle, including representing client’s in commercial break of contract claims, fraud, insolvency related litigation and defending financial institutions and lenders against claims of consumer fraud, predatory lending, unfair business practices and violations of numerous statutes in federal and state courts. She has also defended domestic and international commercial clients before the American Arbitration Association and the International Centre for Dispute Resolution.

• Recovered nearly the full amount of a multimillion-dollar obligation through strategic negotiation and assertive enforcement, including foreclosure of a judgment lien on real estate.
• Uncovered and unwound fraudulent real estate transfers totaling over $1 million, achieving a favorable settlement for the client.
• Served as New Jersey local counsel in a complex, multimillion-dollar commercial dispute, partnering with out-of-state lead counsel to defeat a prominent New Jersey firm and obtain a complete victory for the client
• Manages a 50-state litigation portfolio for a national lending institution, coordinating with local counsel nationwide to deliver consistent, high-quality results and achieve cost-efficient case management.
• First-chaired a New Jersey state court trial, obtaining a verdict proving more than $8 million in damages arising from fraudulent borrowing practices.
