Jeffrey Leavitt is a member of the Litigation practice area and focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation and other complex civil litigation matters.

Jeff represents individuals and businesses in a wide variety of high-stakes civil litigation matters involving cryptocurrency, financial services, fraud, business torts, breach of contract, defamation, and construction matters. Jeff represents his clients at all stages of litigation, through trial.

Jeff brings extensive courtroom experience having tried numerous jury and non-jury trials throughout Florida. Jeff’s trial practice began in the earliest days of his career having won his first civil jury trial less than 6 months into practice. Jeff has a track record of success at trial having won multiple 7 and 8 figure verdicts for his clients. He has also achieved defense judgments in matters of comparable size.

Jeff applies a results-driven approach to his protect clients’ interests. Prior to working at Vedder, Jeff worked at a prestigious Miami litigation boutique and began his career working as a trial lawyer for a well-known insurance company.
