Jeffrey L. Landers II

Jeff is a member of the Global Transportation Finance team. 

His practice focuses on transactions involving aviation, maritime and rail assets, including cross-border leasing, structured financings and asset-backed securitizations. He also advises on structuring and establishing strategic joint ventures and new lending and leasing platforms, and counsels clients on corporate, securities law and restructuring matters.

Jeff also has significant experience representing clients in complex mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, recapitalizations, venture capital, equipment leasing and finance and a variety of other corporate and transactional matters, including the acquisition, divestiture, financing, leasing, operation and general management of multifamily, commercial and agricultural real estate, as well as providing outside general counsel services.

• Aero Capital Solutions’ broadly syndicated $2.4 billion aircraft and engines credit facility, recognized by Ishka as “Best Commercial Bank Deal of 2023.”
• AIP and Phoenix Aviation Capital in connection with a $550 million aircraft warehouse loan facility.
• Natixis and MUFG in connection with a $312 million aircraft bridge facility.
• Atlas SP in connection with a $235 million engine warehouse loan facility.
• Maritime Partners in connection with a $750 million warehouse loan facility, recognized by Marine Money as the “2024 Securitization Deal of the Year”, and MP 2025-1, a $281.7 million securitization of vessel leases.
• Multiple major railcar lessors, including Trinity Industries, Greenbrier and Midwest Railcar, in connection with warehouse loan facilities, term loans and securitizations of railcar leases.
