Alexander Madias is a member of the firm’s Tax and Estate Planning group, where he advises companies, investors, and family offices on complex corporate and partnership tax matters, business transactions, and wealth transfer strategies.

He focuses his practice in the area of federal tax law and helps clients structure deals that support growth, reduce risk, and align with long-term financial objectives.

Alexander works across a broad range of transactional and tax issues, including taxable and nontaxable acquisitions, corporate restructurings, financings, private equity and hedge fund structuring and formations, asset securitizations, executive compensation, and other mergers and acquisitions matters. He analyzes federal tax implications with precision and translates technical requirements into clear, strategic recommendations that drive successful outcomes for clients.

Before joining the firm, Alexander served as a senior associate in the Washington National Tax Office’s Mergers and Acquisitions Tax group at one of the largest global accounting firms, where he advised on complex Subchapter-C matters and supported high-value business transactions relating to tax planning for acquisitions and divestitures, restructurings, spin-offs, post-merger integrations, and other domestic and cross-border taxable and nontaxable transactions.
