She is especially recognized for her experience with closed-end funds, ETFs, and novel product structuring and launches helping clients ensure that transactions and product rollouts align with both regulatory requirements and business goals.

With seven years of experience as in-house counsel at Janus Henderson Investors, a publicly traded investment firm, she brings practical, inside perspective to regulatory challenges and resolution strategies.

Experience
- Led a series of complex mergers of NYSE-listed closed-end funds for a leading fund complex to achieve internal product rationalization and effect acquisitions of external funds.
- Handled conversion of three listed closed-end funds of an industry-leading manager in the energy space into an actively managed ETF. This transaction was a critical step in repositioning the client's product line and launching its ETF presence.
- Represented multiple clients on all aspects of the launch of four de novo registered investment company complexes, including corporate, governance and registration matters. These transactions accomplished critical business objectives, including (1) establishing first propriety fund complex for all clients, (2) establishing the initial ETF presence for two clients and (3) transitioning from a series trust platform to a proprietary platform for three clients.
- Represented a special committee of a business development company regarding all aspects of an affiliated company merger, navigating complex valuation and structural issues.
- Represent leading Sharia-compliant ETF fund complex and board with respect to ETF launches and ongoing regulatory matters.
- Represent newly formed interval fund platform catering to multiple advisers. This representation helped achieve business objective of launching new business for the platform sponsor.
