Jeanah helps businesses and executives resolve complex commercial, employment, and other disputes, and advises clients with practical advice intended to avoid litigation.
If litigation or arbitration is required, Jeanah prosecutes and defends claims aggressively on behalf of her clients. With clients ranging from small businesses to large, publicly traded corporations and their executives, Jeanah understands their businesses and their tolerance for risk, and based on the facts and contracts involved and over two decades of litigation and trial experience, she develops practical and realistic strategies to meet their goals.
In her work involving restrictive covenants, Jeanah’s clients benefit from her knowledge of the constantly changing laws and regulations. She deploys that knowledge to the fullest extent possible to protect her clients’ intellectual property and investment when an employee leaves, and to defend her clients against claims of trade secret misappropriation or breach of contract. Jeanah has both obtained emergency injunctive relief and defeated similar claims on behalf of her clients.
Jeanah maintains a national commercial litigation practice encompassing complex business disputes. She helps her clients navigate contractual disputes, first seeking a resolution without resorting to litigation, then if no resolution is achieved, she aggressively defends or prosecutes the contractual and related common law claims at trial or arbitration. Jeanah regularly defends clients against claims of breach of fiduciary duty and securities fraud, and represents public and private companies in shareholder disputes and other disputes involving unfair competition and defamation.
I understand the opposition's point of view and use that knowledge to my client's advantage.
