Jeff VonDruska counsels investment advisers, private fund managers, family offices, institutional investors and other financial industry participants in a broad range of legal, regulatory and corporate matters.

Known for his practical and solutions-driven approach to complex issues, Jeff guides clients through all types of legal, regulatory and operational matters from investment adviser formation, registration, and marketing to private fund organization, operations and investor relations, as well as the drafting and negotiation of a broad range of other investment-related agreements. He also routinely advises clients on the development and design of compliance policies and programs, and the navigation of complex regulatory examinations, investigations and proceedings.

Jeff’s previous in-house counsel experience at a large fund of hedge funds and hands-on experience in applying legal and regulatory considerations across various business functions and units enable him to help clients evaluate practical options and chart a course that aligns with their business goals and legal strategy. Jeff’s background and representation of a broad range of clients, each with varying risk appetites, allow him to deliver optimal solutions that have helped clients raise billions of dollars of investment capital.

Intensively focused on matters involving the Investment Advisers Act, Jeff is a frequent writer and speaker on issues impacting investment advisers and private funds.
