Matthew Keehn is a member of the firm’s Investment Services group.
He advises registered and unregistered investment advisers, private fund sponsors, and investors on a broad range of investment management matters across asset classes with respect to private funds. Types of matters include fund formation, fund and manager reorganizations, secondary sales, and financing matters which involve private investment vehicles. Matthew also helps clients structure and operate private funds while addressing regulatory, compliance, and business objectives.
He assists clients through general corporate and regulatory matters for asset managers, such as marketing, ongoing management, and regulatory compliance. Additionally, Matthew assists on top-level structuring of investment advisers and general partners, including governing documents, employment matters, restrictive covenants, and incentive arrangements, providing practical, business-focused solutions that align legal strategies with client goals.

- Valor Access Fund launch (access/open-ended private fund formation and closing review)

- Valley National Bank (subject-matter review of underlying fund documents with respect to private fund subscription facilities (lending matters))
- Pro Bono (provide review and revisions of corporate organizational documents of 501(c)(3) entity which provides support for food insecure communities)
